Carlos Iván Beltrán, a former professional baseball player from Puerto Rico, was born on April 24, 1977.
His first Major League Baseball (MLB) team was the Kansas City Royals in 1998. He then played for the Houston Astros, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, and Texas Rangers.

In 2013, Beltrán received a significant award in honor of his services to the game. He gave up playing baseball after winning the 2017 World Series with the Houston Astros.
