Get enchanted by the stylish Spanish house of Aubrey Plaza with hundreds of years old trees

Aubrey Plaza has her sights set on a new house now that her longtime Hollywood Hills home is scheduled to be sold. According to public records, the eccentric, Delaware-born actress, comedian, and producer — best known for her work on the TV series “Parks and Recreation” and “Legion,” as well as a forthcoming role in season two of HBO’s dark comedy series “The White Lotus” — recently spent $4.7 mιllιon on a “classic Spanish Grand Dame” that is just a few blocks away from her former residence.

The 38-year-old’s new residences are more bigger and finer, making them ideal for sharing with her husband, screenwriter/director Jeff Baena, even though both were constructed in the 1920s and include Spanish vernacular architecture. A little over 4,000 square feet of fully refurbished living area, which is accented by grand-scale rooms with oak floors, high ceilings, arched doors, wood-sash windows, and seamless indoor-outdoor environments, has four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The terracotta-roofed, cream-colored building is hidden behind walls and gates on a double parcel of property measuring over a quarter of an acre, just minutes from Griffith Park. It is three stories tall and welcomes visitors with a gorgeous courtyard lined with century-old trees. A tiled entryway with a portico-topped front entrance leads into a sun-drenched living room with a brick fireplace, whitewashed wood-beam ceiling, and a picture window with views of the nearby vegetation.

A formal dining room with French doors leading to a garden, a gourmet kitchen with all-white cabinetry, marble countertops, an apron sink, an eat-in island, high-end stainless appliances, dual walk-in pantries, and access to an outdoor dining patio with a view of a koi pond are also notable features on the main level. There are also two vintage-style bathrooms, a pleasant den, and an office/study with carved beam ceilings and bookcases.

Upstairs, a grand master retreat with two walk-in closets, a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and separate shower, and a dramatic magnesite staircase with the original ironwork. On this floor, there are also three further en-suite bedrooms, including one that, according to the advertisement, could easily be used as a cinema room and another with an attached sunroom and veranda.

There is a climate-controlled wine room and loads of storage space on the lower floor, which leads to an attached two-car garage. The secluded backyard features a sizable pool, a cabana with a steam shower, and a green lawn.
