Tiger Woods didn’t know his £41M mansion was so big until he recovered from his injury
At least Tiger Woods could laugh about it as he continued to recover at home after the horrific ɑccident that left him with life-threatening injuries in February 2021.
He made his amazing golf comeback at the Masters after recovering at his incredible £41 mιllιon home in the upscale Jupiter Island neighborhood, and he has since participated in the PGA Championship and The Open.
Prior to that, he admitted during his first news appearance following the incident that he was having trouble navigating his enormous mansion.
“I constructed a really magnificent house, but until you start using crutches, I didn’t realize how huge it was. Although I am on the plus side of things, I still have a ways to go, Woods said.
“Being motionless for three months has been challenging; it’s difficult to put into words. Simply getting outside was something I was looking forward to.
“I was simply eager to leave the house. I eventually reached a stage where they could wheel me outside and I could feel the sun; that felt like a major accomplishment.
The £41 mιllιon property is divided into two parts: a multipurpose building of 6,400 square feet and dwelling quarters at 3,300 square feet.
The latter has a top-notch gym and is a sizable facility that also houses a video room, wine cellar, and a lift. A guesthouse, a garage, and a sizable mooring for his boats are also there, and a glass-covered walkway connects the two structures.
Father of two Woods can unwind in his personal oxygen therapy room, subterranean game area, or private theater, among other relaxing spaces. In 2010, as his divorce from his ex-wife Elin Nordegren was being finalized, the opulent home was constructed.
He can now spend time there with his girlfriend, Erica Herman, who overcame golf’s flaws to make one of the greatest comebacks in sports history. His residence is located on Florida’s Jupiter Island, which has a population of little under 900 and is one of the area’s most affluent neighborhoods.
His restaurant, The Woods, is located right next to his opulent mansion. Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler have all dined there, which is billed as a “legendary sports bar experience”.
