Nearly 30 mιllιon Instagram users have followed Emily Ratajkowski over the years, and they have seen numerous glimpses of her cheerful Los Angeles house on her profile. Now that her Echo Park apartment has been remodeled, the 30-year-old is taking things to an even more personal level by allowing the public inside – if they have $2.2 mιllιon to spend, that is.
The Ratajkowski residence is currently on the open market, and the asking price is only a slight increase over the $2 mιllιon she paid for it four years ago, indicating that the approximately 2,000 square foot building is expected to sell quickly.
The artistic home is described in listings as a “private midcentury compound… in the extremely sought-after Elysian Heights section of Echo Park.” Although the location is totally secured, private, and on a dеad end street, Dodger Stadium is still only a short, handy walk away.
The property, which was first built in 1946, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main home and a separate “cottage studio” that has a third bathroom and a sizable space that could be used as an office, a gym, a recording studio, or another bedroom.
The main living space features a two-story stone fireplace, and the stunning loft-style master suite has towering windows that let in the lush greenery. The second bedroom is as roomy, and a number of doors lead out to a balcony that connects the main home with the studio.
The terraced backyard’s chaotic assortment of green shrubs, stubby cacti, potted plants, and untamable ground cover may be found outside. A wooden jacuzzi is located next to a built-in campfire in the far back of the property, tucked away in a grove of trees and lit by string lights.
