Tom Brady, an NFL icon and seven-time Super Bowl champion, made a surpise visit via video link last week at the launch of the newest luxury yacht from Dutch boat-builder Wajer in the Netherlands. Additionally, he declared that he will be among the first to receive the new 77-foot offshore vessel.
According to rumors, Brady lavished $6 mιllιon on his yacht. That makes it a very expensive craft at 77 feet. Consider the Lamborghini 63 boat, which is approximately $3.5 mιllιon and is, of course, 14 feet shorter.
The new 77-foot design was a reaction to client requests for a boat that went beyond dayboating and had some ocean-going capabilities, according to Wajer Managing Director Dries Wajer.
The new Wajer 77 flagship is significantly longer, beamier, and higher above the water than the preceding Wajer 55 flagship. Her lines are low, swept back, and gracefully forceful. A water-cooled under-deck temperature system keeps your bare feet from getting too warm, and the automatic wheelhouse roof can expand, contract, and front-elevate to let more air flow into the cockpit.
Other Q Branch-worthy technologies include an auto-calibrating anchor drop that determines the length of chain needed, a hybrid fender system that can quickly inflate/deflate bumpers for easier stowage, and a water-cooled under-deck temperature system.
There is a 16-foot, 5-inch wide master suite in the middle of the boat, a bow junior suite with a double bed, and a guest bedroom on the port side with a queen-size and a single bed. Each unit has its own bathroom and shower. A crew cabin has two beds.
Expect a fully functional galley and a workspace below deck, along with a contemporary blend of light and dark wood on a minimalist, shining white interior design scheme that would make any luxury boutique hotel envious.
Although the excellent cabin amenities expand the Wajer line’s capabilities, the outdoors are the focus of everyday life on a Wajer. Even bιg groups of people may unwind comfortably thanks to the extensive circular deck seating, bоw deck sun cushions, sizable sofas, and an aft al fresco dining area.
We all like being on the water, including my children. Everyone loves our Wajer; we spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve on it,” Brady remarked.
