Google co-founder Sergey Brin owns Malibu mansion worth $35M

According to Dirt, Brin purchased the six-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion from Nebraskan businessman Steve Buchanan.

The internet tycoon has been residing in a midcentury contemporary Point Dume property since 2020, when he and Shanahan purchased a home somewhere on Point Dume. While the ex-couple fights it out in court, that property is empty and boarded up.

Shanahan and Tesla CEO Elon Musk ɑllegedly had an affair, which led to the divorce; Musk has refuted the ɑllegation.

Brin frequently visits the annual Burning Man festival, and he was recently photographed in Topanga Canyon for the inauguration of an online store selling mushrooms.
His new vantage point has views of Catalina Island and the ocean, according to the description.

The residence, which is over 6,100 square feet, has an open layout. The fireplace wall in the living room is made of metal and stone. The kitchen is close by and features heated flagstone floors, an island, bar seating, a study space, a butler’s pantry, and a sizable built-in breakfast/dining nook.

According to the previous listing, there is a media room with wine and beverage coolers on the same floor. The home’s upper floor has a designated primary bedroom wing with a spa-like bathroom and an ocean view porch.

A pool, a central patio, and a multi-level deck are among the outside features. At Dume Cove, there are designated spots for outdoor dining, an outdoor living area, a barbeque area, a fire pit with built-in seats, lawns, an outdoor shower, and a gated staircase to the sandy beach.
