The 8-acre property in the Bel Air district, just a short distance from the Bel Air hotel, was first advertised by the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer for $42.5 mιllιon in February, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal at the time. About 80 days after the first listing, on Friday, the price was lowered, according to the records.

Originally created in 1940 by architect Samuel Marx, the main home is made of stone, wood, and other organic materials. There are nine bedrooms, a formal dining room, a family room, and a living area with high ceilings, a bar, and a fireplace. According to the ad, every accommodation has access to a sizable stone patio.
Additionally, the house contains a 30-seat home cinema that features movie posters for Ms. Lopez and Mr. Affleck’s previous roles in movies including Mr. Affleck’s “Hollywoodland” and Ms. Lopez’s “Monster-in-Law,” as shown in listing images.
