Simon Cowell bought London mansion for £18M and left it empty for 3 years

LET’S tour Simon Cowell’s opulent $18 mιllιon south London property, which he has never occupied.

Since he purchased the home three years ago, the 63-year-old has invested £1 mιllιon in renovations. He has been trying to take it off the market since 2021, but without much success.

He planned to use the property as his family’s base camp when he purchased it in 2019 but quickly realized that Eric, the kid he shares with fiancée Lauren Silverman, 45, was too distant from his first choice of school. The music mogul has since made the decision to rent it instead.

Simon spent roughly £1 mιllιon customizing it to match his and his family’s demands, so he was undoubtedly intended to make it his base in the UK, according to a prior source. He decided it wasn’t the place for him, put it on the market, and realized that London traffic could make the relatively short drive so difficult.

So, if a lucky fan has a ton of money, they might be able to live in Simon’s magnificent mansion. Although the actual rental rate is unknown, nearby homes sell for an average of £13,500 per month.
