The actor and comedian Mike Myers is asking $20M for the penthouse that he owns in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.
Documents made public reveal that the star from “Shrek” forked over $15.35M to the developer in order to own the condo flat.
According to the listing agent for the property, Leonard Steinberg of Compass, the apartment includes approximately 5,600 square feet of space, four bedrooms, and a study that has the potential to function as an additional bedroom.
It is located in a luxurious condominium along the High route, which was formerly an elevated railroad track and is now a popular tourist destination in the area.
The apartment features not one but two spacious terraces that, when combined, total close to 100 square feet. According to Mr. Steinberg, one of the terraces measures around 65 feet in length and can be accessed from both the living area and the primary bedroom.
In addition, the penthouse features a library and a media room for your enjoyment. A number of features can be found in the open kitchen, including the handmade oak cabinets, brass hardware, and Carrara marble island.
The master bedroom suite has facilities such as spacious walk-in closets, an en suite bathroom with heated marble flooring, a wet area, and a sauna, and a separate wet area.
To enter the apartment, one must use the key-locked elevator that is located in the main lobby. The other elevator is located in the service entrance. The apartment features casement windows that look out into Midtown Manhattan and the Hudson River.
