Inside WWE icon Stone Cold Steve Austin’s former luxury home in LA which he put on the market for £2.5m ahead of WrestleMania 38 return

Stone Cold Steve Austin, an iconic figure in WWE history, has not only left his mark in the wrestling world but has also dabbled in real estate. The Texas native, known for his beer-drinking persona and famous finishing move, the “Stone Cold Stunner,” has ventured into the housing market over the years, even though he occasionally makes appearances in the wrestling ring and hosts popular television series.

One of Austin’s real estate endeavors involved putting his 2,700-square-foot home in Marina del Rey on the market for $3.595 million. Located in California, this property doesn’t match the typical Texan housing expectations in terms of size and value, but it’s reflective of California’s real estate market.

Austin initially acquired the single-story home for nearly $2 million back in 2007. In a savvy move, he also purchased the neighboring house, a cozy three-bedroom with just over 1,000 square feet, for $1.49 million in 2017.

The former residence of the “Texas Rattlesnake” offers three bedrooms with wide-plank floorboards and custom linen window coverings. The house showcases a Mediterranean influence, featuring a clay-tile roof and elegant iron and glass doors. It’s set within a walled and gated property, complete with a landscaped yard in front and a swimming pool and spa in the back.

While Stone Cold Steve Austin is best known for his wrestling career and television hosting duties, his ventures into the real estate market, particularly in California, demonstrate his business acumen and adaptability beyond the ring.
