Michael Jordan was the first person to own ‘the open-top speed demon’ Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, his childhood dream came true

Although his Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir holds the title of being Michael Jordan’s first hypercar, this one is unquestionably the fastest vehicle he has ever owned.

It’s amazing to think that Michael Jordan left the NBA twenty years ago.

These days, he stays busy running his own business, owning a NASCAR and NBA team, and collecting more and more cars.

The fact that the celebrity recently spent $3,500,000 on a new hypercar may not come as a surprise to gearheads, but what will surprise them more is what it is.

A Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster has been added to the infamous garage of the former No. 23 Chicago Bulls player.

If you’re wondering why you haven’t heard of a hypercar before, it’s because it’s very new and nobody has.

Jordan received the open-top speed demon directly from John Hennessey, the creator of the carmaker, at his Grove XXIII home.

The old citrus orchard in Flroida made the ideal setting for a snap photo of Jordan holding his new toy with Hennessey.

The Venom F5, built by Hennessey, first gained attention for its goal of being the world’s fastest production automobile, with a top speed estimated to be above 311 mph (500 km/h).

The Texan constructor introduced the Venom F5 Revolution Coupe, a third track version with a concentration on downforce, to the Venom F5 Coupe and its F5 Roadster counterpart in January of this year.

A twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 lb-ft of torque powers all three.

The Venom F5 Revolution Roadster was created by blending the open top of Jordan’s Venom F5 with the aerodynamics found on the specified circuit.

John Hennessey really described the process as “an honor to build a special F5 for a special friend.”

Given his height of 6’6″ (198 cm), it is not surprising that Jordan chose a roadster, but it remаins to be seen if the celebrity will ever be able to rev the 8,500 rpm-capable vehicle while the top is on.

Given that the Venom F5 Revolution Coupe is priced at $2,700,000 for all 24 units, it is not surprising that the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster will eventually cost over $3 million.

In this case, exclusivity is crucial, even if it would be hard to think of this as a one-off.
