It’s improbable that a run-down single-family eyesore with a broken fence and a disgusting yard would have any connection to the flamboyant Latino rapper Armando “Pitbull” Pérez.
Over the previous ten years, the “Mr. 305” man has made a lot of money from record agreements, hung out at South Florida’s hippest nightclubs, and looked down on the rest of Miami from the top 40 charts. Among Mr. Worldwide’s many investments are restaurants and at least one other house.
The locals find Pitbull’s early pictures somewhat too Miami-esque for comfort. However, instead of skimpy apparel, you can see relaxed peacocks at one Pinecrest resort. And the front door is taped with notifications of code violations for crumbling structures and standing water instead of love messages from passionate followers. Pitbull was nowhere to be seen either.
The neighborhood believes that the house has been vacant since it was sold in 2015. The property was bought in February 2015 for $850,000 by Enpi Gao LLC, a corporation that is registered at the same address as Mr 305 Inc, Pitbull’s record label, and hundreds of other firms associated with the well-known rapper’s empire, according to county documents.
Enpi Gao was run at the time by one of Pitbull’s personal managers, Michael Calderon. A builder whose sign was in the yard said that Pitbull and his wife purchased the house after Pitbull’s wife acted as a broker. Leslie Zigel, Pitbull’s attorney, said that his client denied ownership of the land and that he had nothing further to sаy.
