Just over a month after Leonardo DiCaprio’s Los Feliz mansion was on the market, Dirt has learned that Grammy-winning musician Miguel Jontel Pimentel and his wife, model and singer Nazanin Mandi Pimentel, were the purchasers. A stеal for the Pimentels, but undoubtedly a letdown for DiCaprio who had purchased the house for $10,000 more four years earlier, the couple paid $4.9 mιllιon for it.
The 1926 construction of this five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Tudor-style house still shows off many of its original features. The several fireplaces with elaborate moldings and vaulted ceilings are especially impressive, and based by a recent Instagram photo from Mrs. Pimentel in which one of the fireplaces is prominently displayed, the buyers agree.
The 4,644 square foot house has a third layer of celebrity mythology thanks to the sale to Miguel because DiCaprio bought the apartment from Moby. Contrary to DiCaprio, the singer spent 2016 to 2018 remodeling the house and had far better success with making a profit, pocketing $1.5 mιllιon from the sale less broker and renovation costs.
Due to Moby’s investment in the area, it now has tasteful modern accents that blend well with the original period features, such as the bright new kitchen and breakfast nook. French doors off of that corner connect to a covered al fresco dining area and stairs that descend to a private pool tucked away among tall trees for seclusion.
