While Rick Ross might possess a track titled “I’m Not a Star,” he has just become the latest resident of Miami’s Star Island.
In the previous month, reports emerged indicating that The Boss had set his sights on a waterfront mansion on the exclusive island. This week, the “Hustlin” rapper concluded the purchase of the mentioned residence. The hefty sum of $35M was laid down by Rozay for the colossal 40,000-square-foot mega-mansion, situated close to the center of the illustrious and safeguarded enclave. The island boasts an array of prominent figures such as Diddy, billionaire Ken Griffen, Jennifer Lopez, and Gloria Estefan, all of whom possess lavish homes here. Remarkably, given the island’s limited 30 residences, it’s quite an achievement that the music executive managed to secure a sought-after slice of Star Island.
Jill Eber from The Jills Zeder Group, along with colleagues Jill Hertzberg, Felise Eber, and Fabio Lopes, who represented the seller, expressed their excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to have swiftly found the perfect buyer for this remarkable property shortly after listing.
Star Island is truly unique, and we are confident that the buyer will be delighted with his new abode on this highly coveted island.” Ross was represented by Kimberly Knausz from ONE Sotheby’s International Realty and Tawanda Roberts from Florida Realty of Miami.
Knausz added, “He was instantly captivated by the grand entrance, featuring an expansive driveway that leads to the mansion, exuding an aura of genuine luxury. The distinctive architecture also played a role, as it transcends the norms of modern homes and he intends to personalize it to reflect his own style.”
The expansive 12,374-square-foot estate comprises six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, along with an extensive 100-foot waterfront along Biscayne Bay. The current setup includes a two-car garage, but the founder of Maybach Music Group will undoubtedly require more space to accommodate his cherished automobiles.
Moreover, for his voyages by boat, a 40-foot dock complete with electricity and water connections is available. Perhaps he’ll acquire that Lamborghini yacht he’s been eyeing—if he hasn’t already.
Known for hosting lavish celebrity-filled gatherings, the spacious swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and extensive stone terrace will certainly prove to be useful for Ross.
Inside the two-story mansion, a glass-enclosed foyer, a living room with towering 30-foot ceilings and a custom-made mahogany fireplace, a media room, and a library can be found. Adjacent to these, the chef’s kitchen is outfitted with top-tier appliances, granite countertops, a butler’s pantry, and a separate breakfast area.
It’s evident that Ross has an affinity for the finer luxuries in life, and as such, the primary suite is nothing short of opulent. Envision remote-controlled shutters, a wet bar, two capacious walk-in closets, and dual marble-adorned bathrooms.
