Once more, the Carters created history. Beyoncé choose her newest residence despite being on the first leg of her hugely successful Renaissance World Tour.

The billionaire couple reportedly paid $200 million for a 30,000 square foot compound overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, which makes their new home an expensive acquisition for a private residence in California and adds to their opulent real estate holdings, according to Architectural Digest. The record was broken by the power couple’s new neighbor, venture mogul Marc Andreessen, who paid an incredible $177 million in 2021 to purchаse the house next door. The self-taught Japanese architect Tadao Ando, winner of the Pritzker Prize, created the Knowles-Carter mansion in Malibu. He is most recognized in the United States for having constructed the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum.

The couple, who have three children together—11-year-old daughter Blue and five-year-old twins Rumi and Sir—appears to have gotten a good bargain on the opulent property in the Paradise Cove neighborhood, commonly known as Billionaires’ Row, even if they paid a steep sum for it. The expansive concrete passageways and floor to ceiling glass panels are prominent characteristics of the L-shaped property. The large, beautiful backyard features a swimming pool and finishes with a cliff facet that provides coastal views.

The renowned art collector William Bell originally designed and owned the minimalist modern home, according to the Los Angeles Times. Bell paid $14.5 million for the property in 2003. The New York Post claims that Bell’s extensive private art collection is housed in the concrete structure he spent nearly 15 years creating.

The pair owns a $88 million estate in Los Angeles’ Bel Air neighborhood, a property in Lower Manhattan, and a loft in TriBeCa, where they enjoyed their nuptials, in addition to their new mansion. The Carters are rumored to own a home in New Orleans as well, as they put it up for sale and removed it from the market in 2021. The 32-time Grammy Award winner undoubtedly looks forward to spending time with her family in her new residence in sunny Los Angeles when she returns.
