Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, has spent a lot of his $500 M fortune on luxury cars. And two private jets.
However, Jacob Arabo, founder of Jacob & Co watchmakers, has designed a custom Bugatti Chiron Baguette for the Manchester United striker that matches the soccer legend’s sports car in appearance and specs.
An 8.0-liter W16 engine produces 1,480 horsepower (1,500 ps) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque in the hypercar. The watch won’t have the same specs, but that doesn’t diminish its appeal.
The soccer star spent over $1 M on the watch, which Dmarge says could be one of the most expensive of 2022.
This new custom watch, based on Jacob & Co.’s Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon Baguette, is 55 mm wide, 20 mm tall, and has 21 carats of gemstones, including 232 white baguette diamonds and 109 black sapphires.
His hypercar’s grille is likely on the sapphire crystal case. Naturally, his nickname and T-shirt number, CR7, is on the front of the watch.
The luxury watchmaker made a sapphire replica of the Bugatti Chiron’s W16 engine. Pushing the right-hand crown turns the crankshaft, moves the 16 pistons, and spins the turbochargers.
The soccer star owns Hublot, Rolex, and Richard Mille custom watches, as well as this one.
Ronaldo bought the $8.9 M Bugatti Centodieci and a Veyron in addition to the Chiron.
