Rihanna and A$AP Rocky bought “Mansion in the Sky” for $21,600,000 and lived lavishly

Rihanna, the Barbadian singer, songwriter, and actress, is well acquainted with opulent living.

The 35-year-old star has been calling The Century her home, a celebrity-endorsed skyscraper designed by Robert A.M. Stern, since 2014. Recently, she decided to step up her game by moving into the “Mansion in the Sky,” an even more expansive penthouse situated on the 40th floor of the same building, at a cost of $21M.

This significant acquisition coincides with her preparations to welcome her second child.

Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, this sprawling penthouse spans an impressive 9,000 square feet and occupies the uppermost level of a luxurious high-rise structure. The residence encompasses four bedrooms paired with eight bathrooms and includes a private elevator. Initially listed at $35M in 2019, the property had been snapped up by “Friends” star Matthew Perry in 2017 for $20M. Subsequently, it changed hands to Nick Molnar, a renowned entrepreneur, for $23M in 2021. Molnar later made the decision to list the penthouse for $28M in 2022.

Rihanna’s newly acquired abode epitomizes sheer luxury. Encompassing the entirety of the 40th floor within The Century, the interior showcases a contemporary-vintage grayscale and white theme. The penthouse boasts modern, sleek furnishings, premium finishes, and cutting-edge appliances.

A capacious living room boasts a curved wall adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer sweeping views of the city, ocean, and mountains both by day and night. This living space features twin fireplaces and multiple sitting areas. Meanwhile, the gourmet kitchen is adorned in all-white and offers ample space. It includes a marble countertop, a sizable kitchen island with plentiful seating, and a table for informal dining.

For more formal dining, Rihanna’s new abode encompasses a separate dining room, also featuring glass walls that frame breathtaking vistas, much like the other rooms in the penthouse.

Beyond the expansive living area, kitchen, and bedrooms, this skyward mansion boasts a game room, a home theater, four outdoor terraces, a screening room, a wine storage facility, yoga and Pilates studios, and an impressive 22-meter-long swimming pool.

The Century building stands as an architectural masterpiece, offering a suite of amenities such as a 24-hour guarded entrance, concierge services, and a fitness center.
