Robbie Williams and Ayda Field spend up to $21M for a villa with sea view

They made history last week when they joined The X Factor’s judging panel as the first married couple to ever do so, in a deal reportedly worth £10M.

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field have chosen to spend their money on a lavish five-bedroom home in Malibu, California, despite planning to spend most of their time in the UK for the show.

The breathtaking home, which Janet Jackson once called home, features a two-bedroom guesthouse, a private spa, and gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that let the couple take in the idyllic ocean views.

The apartment is sleek and contemporary in design, with neutral decor and low lighting throughout to let the breathtaking view, which is visible through jaw-dropping floor-to-ceiling doors, take center stage.

The 3,592 square foot main house features a spacious kitchen and diner with a ten-seat dining table, an island with a breakfast bar, and numerous comfortable sofas.

Despite its size, the room has a cozy fireplace and plush chairs to make it feel cozier on chilly nights in.

The space then spills out onto a private deck with a dining table, barbecue, and numerous sun loungers, making it ideal for family gatherings outside and enjoying the sunshine.

There is also a sizable swimming pool surrounded by trees for days when the sea is too choppy, and the spa in the garden offers a place to unwind after a long day.

The bedrooms are furnished in a farmhouse-inspired style with wood-paneled walls, but a large media and entertainment suite adds a contemporary touch with a large television and a variety of vintage games.
