Jasmine Tookes bought a villa in LA and lived happily with her husband and children

A few years ago, Elle Décor described Jasmine Tookes’ Beverly Hills home as a Hamptons-meets-modern-farmhouse. The designer-done spread for the Los Angeles native was made by the Orange County-based Design Works and is tucked away in Brentwood’s rustic-luxe Mandeville Canyon. It’s expensive and close to Beverly Hills, but it’s not in 90210.

The former Victoria Angel paid $3M for the house four years ago. She has appeared on numerous magazine covers, walked countless runways, and debuted on Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid models in 2016.

It’s little surprise that 31-year-old seasoned catwalker has sent her neatly ironed bachelorette pad down the runway for $4.4M given that she married 32-year-old software executive Juan David Borrero, Snapchat’s 23rd employee, since then. Cassandra Monnastes and Tami Pardee are agents for Pardee Properties.

The modest but not cheap 2,600 square foot transitional-traditional property is approached through a lovely wooden bridge that crosses a seasonal creek and is concealed among tall trees and thick greenery. It boasts mullioned windows, dark-stained wood floors, high ceilings, and French doors that open to the pool and backyard.

The house has four bedrooms and three newly renovated bathrooms, one of which is the second-floor master suite, which is blush-colored and has a tiny balcony, a bespoke bathroom, and a walk-in closet fit for a fashionista.

She admitted to being a “HORRIBLE cook,” but her open-concept kitchen features a gourmet’s assortment of professional cooking appliances, beautifully veined marble countertops, and glossy white tile backsplashes.

The steep, rocky hill behind the house is covered in rose vines, adding prickly romance. The small, secluded backyard features a brick-trimmed swimming pool, a pancake-flat area of low-maintenance imitation evergreen grass, and numerous outdoor dining and relaxing areas.

A few months before their September wedding, Borrero sold his bachelor pad in Bel Air for $5.3M, but he spent $5.9M to own a modern property with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms above Mandeville Canyon.
