Kate Upton and Justin Verlander benefit from selling their home to Timothee Chalamet for $10.9M

Timothee Chalamet was the buyer of the Beverly Hills area mansion that model Kate Upton and Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander formerly owned. Chalamet is nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the film.

After initially being marketed for $11.7M, the opulent residence that spans 513 square meters and features a championship tennis court was eventually purchased for $10.9M (A$16.3M).

According to estimates from a Realtor, the couple spent $5.3M for the property in 2016, but the sales price is more than double that amount. The significant price increase can be partially due to a recent makeover of the interior.

Saxophonist Kenny G was the previous owner of the mansion before Verlander and Upton purchased it. Later, he sold the property to tennis legend Pete Sampras, who is responsible for the addition of the tennis court that is championship-sized.

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom property was constructed in the 1970s, and it now features a chic white and grey color palette, an open floor plan with beamed and pitched ceilings, and multiple French doors and windows that face out over 1.5 acres of manicured gardens.

In addition, the home was recently renovated to include a luxurious open-floor plan with beamed and pitched ceilings.

In addition to that, it features a sizable kitchen with a marble island that is rather large and contemporary home appliances. A dining room that features bespoke lighting is connected to the kitchen.

The bedrooms include a luxurious master suite that has two separate wardrobes and a bathroom with a spa tub. The lower level entertainment room features a bar, wine cellar, and home theater in addition to its already impressive list of posh facilities.

In addition to the tennis court, the backyard features a swimming pool, a brick patio with plenty of room for eating, green lawns, and established trees and bushes.

In addition, he has portrayed leading roles in a number of movies, including “Dune”, “The French Dispatch,” and “Don’t Look Up.” He is presently engaged in the production of “Dune: Part 2” and “Wonka.”

After recently purchasing a waterfront property in Florida for the price of $6.55M, Justin Upton and Justin Verlander look to be making preparations to move to the East Coast.
