So this is why fashion designer Roberto Cavalli bought the Freedom yacht

It’s not hard to see how the Dark Knight influenced fashion designer Roberto Cavalli’s latest creation, the superyacht Freedom, which was photographed in motion.

Since the first announcement of the sale of the CCN bespoke yacht measuring 28 meters back in May of 2017, few details have been made available.

But now, photographs that have never been seen before show for the first time the interior that was created by Tommaso Spadolini.

These photographs show everything from the sky-blue galley to the leopard-print furnishings. At the 2019 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards, the boat was a finalist in the categories for Best Exterior Styling and Best General Arrangement. It is not hard to see why the boat was considered for these awards.

The assignment given to Cavalli required an unconventional and forward-thinking design, which resulted to the creation, a low profile on the water, and a significant amount of volume despite the vessel’s short length.

The design incorporates a spacious garage in the bow, which has room for a tender that is 3.8 meters in length.

“Everyone recognizes me for my leopard and zebra prints that I wear,” she said. “The leopard print extends all the way across our bedroom on this boat,” Cavalli revealed to Boat International.

In addition, the master suite provides direct access to the wheelhouse, which is convenient given that Cavalli plans to captain the boat himself. Additionally, the master suite provides access to the lounge/beach area and a small flybridge deck.

Cavalli’s personal touch can be seen throughout the interior design; he chose the fabric and leather finishes, in addition to the furniture and accessories, to express both his attitude toward life on the water and his forceful personality.

Cavalli knew from the beginning that it had to be painted black. The Dark Avenger served as the catalyst for this idea; the designer envisioned a boat that Batman would like to have.

In spite of this, two guest cabins on the lower deck: a double cabin and a VIP cabin. These compartments can be found on either side of the passageway that leads aft of the galley.
