Diligent At the 2021 63rd Grammy Awards, American rapper, songwriter, producer, and now-Christian musician Kanye West ties the record with his 20th Grammy Award, taking home the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album of the Year title.
Many of the rapper’s supporters were taken aback when it was revealed that he had won, especially in light of his earlier behavior with the award plaques—he had thrown some of the recorded Music Academy trophy plaques into the bathroom and urinated on them.
Kanye West is nominated for the first time in the Contemporary Gospel Christian category, and he has elegantly strolled into the category and accepted the prize for his contributions to the album “Jesus Is King.”

The rapper didn’t even show up for or honor the awards event. Since 2009, when he stormed on stage to seize the microphone and cut short Taylor Swift’s award speech, accusing the show of stealing Beyonce, Kanye has caused quite a bit of disruption at the event.The Kardashians
